1. Welcome to Beauty by Britt
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and services provided by Beauty by Britt. By booking an appointment with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
We offer a range of beauty and wellness services including nails, massage, lashes & brows, and more. Please take a moment to read through these policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
2. Bookings & Appointments
All bookings are automatically confirmed upon submission. However, we reserve the right to decline any booking that does not fit our policy or availability.
A booking fee (a percentage of the treatment cost) is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This fee will be deducted from your final payment.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. If you arrive late, your treatment time may be reduced to avoid delays for other clients, and the full service price will still apply.
3. Consultations & Patch Tests
Certain services require a consultation form to be completed before your appointment. This helps us understand your needs and ensure the treatment is suitable for you. You may be asked to complete this when booking or before your appointment.
Some treatments, particularly lash and brow services, may require a patch test at least 24-48 hours before your appointment. If a patch test is required, it is your responsibility to attend and inform us of any reactions. We cannot proceed with treatment if you have not had the required patch test.
Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or medications that may affect your treatment. Failure to disclose relevant information may result in your treatment being refused for your own safety.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours' notice: your booking fee is non-refundable.
Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice: full payment of the treatment is required.
No-shows (failure to attend without notice) will be charged the full treatment price, and future bookings may require full payment in advance.
5. Payment
Payment for services is due at the end of your appointment. We accept cash, card, and bank transfer.
Your booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of your treatment, with the remaining balance due upon completion of your service.
All prices are in GBP (£) and may be subject to change. You will always be informed of the full cost before your appointment.
6. Refunds
Booking fees are non-refundable for cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours' notice.
Full payment is required for cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours' notice.
Refunds for completed services are not offered. If you are unhappy with your treatment, please contact us within 48 hours so we can discuss how to resolve any concerns.
7. Client Responsibilities
Please arrive clean and ready for your treatment. For certain services, specific preparation may be required, which will be communicated to you in advance.
If you have any contagious conditions (such as cold sores, eye infections, or skin conditions), please do not attend your appointment. We will be happy to reschedule without penalty where reasonable notice is given.
Please treat the space with respect during your visit.
8. Health & Safety
Your safety and wellbeing are our priority. Please let us know if you feel unwell before or during your appointment.
We maintain high hygiene standards and use clean, sanitised equipment for every client.
By booking, you confirm that you have disclosed any relevant health information that may affect your treatment.
9. Liability
Beauty by Britt is not liable for any adverse reactions or complications arising from treatments where full and accurate information was not disclosed by the client.
We are not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings during your appointment.
By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you accept responsibility for following any aftercare advice provided.
10. Your Privacy & Data
We collect and store your personal information solely for the purpose of managing your bookings and providing our services.
Your data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
We handle your information in accordance with UK data protection laws.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. By continuing to book appointments with Beauty by Britt, you agree to the most current version of these terms.
